How KAÇTAN compares prices.

If we cannot defend the calculation, we do not call it the cheapest delivered price.

KAÇTAN is a controlled beta. Every public product comparison uses timestamped manual price checks. Illustrative products and example prices are not published.

01Exact product identity

We first match an exact GTIN or EAN. If that is unavailable, we use the manufacturer part number with the brand. Size, capacity, colour, connectivity and regional version are checked before offers are merged.

Title similarity alone is never enough. A 44 mm Bluetooth watch and the same 44 mm LTE watch are different products.

02Delivered-price calculation

The delivered total combines the product price, required delivery, destination VAT not already included, customs duty, carrier processing fees and unavoidable payment fees. Optional installation, extended warranty and subscriptions are excluded unless required to buy the product.

03Confidence grades

A

Verified final priceFresh stock and price with destination-specific delivery. Eligible to win.

B

Estimated final priceFresh offer plus documented rules with limited uncertainty. Clearly labelled.

C

Before deliveryOne or more unavoidable costs are unknown. Visible, but cannot win.

04Freshness and stock

A product page does not prove availability. The manual pilot therefore carries a source timestamp and a plain-language availability note, and asks shoppers to confirm checkout. Production offers will require fresh stock state from an approved feed or API.

05Ranking and commission

The default order is the lowest rankable delivered price. A product needs at least three complete delivered totals before it can appear under Top deals. When the cheapest offer is not Grade A, the cheapest Grade A offer is shown separately as the best verified option.

Delivery time, merchant country, condition and confidence remain visible. A commercial relationship never silently changes the price ranking.

KAÇTAN expects to earn affiliate commission after a shopper follows certain retailer links and completes a purchase. This should not increase the shopper's price, and every commercial link will be identified when activated.

06Coverage and limitations

“Cheapest” will mean cheapest among eligible offers currently included—not every seller on the internet. We will publish included merchants, update times and known limitations beside live comparisons.
